Imagine the thing you believed to be a holy blessing, turned out to be an evil curse. I could say so much, but it’s much easier if you simply go and grab the book. It’s a brilliant young adult series, offering everything you would expect from such a series. The story dug its claws in me and there was no escaping. Out of the blue, I was unable to put the book down. At some point, and I’m not sure when it happened, that changed. Whilst I was enjoying the story, I wasn’t as crazy obsessed as I had hoped to be. Suddenly I could sit and power my way all three books, without waiting for Amazon to deliver the next one.Īt first I wasn’t quite sure whether I was going to enjoy the series as much as everyone else seemed to. That changed when I managed to find the books going cheap. Everyone seemed to love it and it was right up my street, and yet I never pushed it to the top of my to-read list.
