It would be an understatement to say that this story would take you on an emotional roller-coaster because the experiences that Tracy endures through her journey to achieve justice for the evil doings of a few powerful people will shake you to your core. But on the other side she is an omniscient being, taking justice into her own hands. On one side of the spectrum she is a gentle kind-hearted woman simply looking for justice for those who have caused her pain. We soon realize that Tracy’s persona is like that one rollercoaster ride that you can never truly comprehend or prepare for. Quickly attracts the sympathy and loyalty of the reader however this lovableįaçade that she has is simply that, a façade. Tracy’s lovable demeanour and hardworking attitude Protagonist in this story, and we follow her on a journey of growth, revengeĪnd justice as she goes up against one of the most powerful mafia bosses in theĬountry, Anthony Orsatti.
Sheldon’s incredible ability to use a simple plot with complicated and dynamic characters makes this one of the best pieces in his collection of novels. The numerous twists and turns will drive you to the very edge of your seat and leave you craving more. Sidney Sheldon seemingly want to affirm that the greatest weapon of women is femininity.There are many ways to describe this novel however I believe the one that is most appropriate at this time would be “brilliant”. Tracy exudes sense of feminity in all actions, including the way she uses her sexy body to dupe police, imitates upper-classed woman with the surprisingly elegance. What she did was completely illegal but I cannot have antipathy towards her. The image of Tracy appeared as a cunning woman with extraordinarily attraction. After being released, Tracy earned a living as a master thief with incredible intelligence and tricks. Bitter and inhumane prison life turns Tracy into a revengeful girl with a plan to destroy ones who brought her sorrowes. Then she was imprisoned despite her unguiltiness, being betrayed by fiance.
However, calamities continuously struck, commencing at her mother’s death.
She was about to build up a happy family with her fiance belonging to one of the richest families with high reputation in Philadelphia.
